Dr. Oguzhan Dincer

  • BIOGRAPHY
  • Oguzhan (Oz) Dincer is an Associate Professor of Economics and the Director of the Institute for Corruption Studies at the Illinois State University. His research interests lie in the intersection between public economics, institutional economics and development economics with a focus on corruption. Between 2011 and 2015 he was a Non-Residential Fellow at Harvard Law School’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics where (together with Michael Johnston) he developed measures of legal and illegal corruption across U.S. states. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2004.
